I agree with Judge Greenwood. I urge all practicing attorneys to take a minute, and voice your opposition to the repeal of the present Rule. Jeff Rolig

The Idaho Supreme Curt is considering permanently abolishing the ability
</div>
<div>
of lawyers and their clients to disqualify Judges without cause. For
</div>
<div>
those of you who toil in the trenches of state court litigation,
</div>
<div>
criminal and civil, you have a chance to voice your opposition. I urge
</div>
<div>
you to do so. The Administrative judges have voted in favor of repeal of
</div>
<div>
the rule and I suspect the Supremes are leaning strongly in the
</div>
<div>
direction of eliminating the DQ without cause. Unless the bar is vocal
</div>
<div>
about this, you are going to lose what I think is a valuable right.

"The Court is reexamining the rules to assess whether they strike the

ensuring the timely, fair, and impartial resolution of cases. Having

<div>
received comments from the ADJs, the Court now seeks any responses,

<div>
comments, or suggestions that the Bar and judges may wish to provide.
