Louisiana, for holidays not worked, the employee receives a "designated holiday" that is equivalent to the number of hours the employee is usually scheduled for on a day. For holidays worked, the employee is eligible for state overtime at the hour for hour
rate if the number of hours worked does not rise to the number required for FLSA overtime.
