<p class="MsoNormal">Reporting to the Associate Superintendent or higher, the Correctional Captain functions as the Chief of Security at major prison facilities. The Correctional Captain is responsible for the administration of all safety and security programs
at the state’s prison facilities and direct the overall 24/7 shift operations. Program areas may include: roster management, perimeter control, key control, offender transport, facility clearance, use of force, contraband management and communications, COACH
program, and offender hearings. Serves as the Incident Commander, developing and implementing the facility’s Emergency Response Plan, and ensures all custody staff are properly trained and equipped during emergency situations. Develops policies/procedures
and facility operational memoranda to implement directives for custody operations.<o:p></o:p></p>
