(MQs and Job Overview below to help) for this; this is the class I have matched to the NCASG Highway Maintenance Worker benchmark (NCASG code 9162). I’m hoping to match the turnover data you share with me here with the salary information you provided on the
2020 Salary Survey, so if you could use the same class as there, that would be perfect.

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b> Education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Job Overview:</b> Under immediate supervision, performs labor and data collection work of average difficulty in the area of highway maintenance, survey, construction, or inspection of a roadway, bridge, or other transportation structures;
performs related work as required; responsible for following instructions quickly and accurately. Distinguishing Features: This is the entry level class in the Operations Technician sub-series. An employee in this class performs labor and data collection work
in the area of maintenance, inspection, repair, and/or construction. An employee in this class may also operate roadway maintenance equipment, perform roadway maintenance work, and perform paraprofessional civil engineering assistance work, such as conducting
materials or soils tests and performing geometric or algebraic calculations. This class differs from Operations Technician Senior in that an incumbent of the latter performs technical civil engineering work and supervises inspection and maintenance labor staff
and activities.<o:p></o:p></p>
