<p class="MsoNormal">Washington conducts salary surveys every two years. The Washington State Employees Compensation Survey covers the majority of our classified jobs and the 2020 results are posted online:

<p class="MsoNormal">We added several new components to the survey in 2020:<o:p></o:p></p>

<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Report on total compensation versus base salary. Our total compensation value includes base compensation plus the employee value of health care and retirement rather than employer
costs.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Benchmark results include benchmark total compensation stats with characteristics of the benchmark group (benchmark job and indexed classes), see sample below.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Data on modern work environment (compressed/flexible work schedule, telework) and employee engagement (survey frequency, response rate, would you recommend WA as an employer, annual
turnover).<o:p></o:p></li></ul>

<p class="MsoNormal">The web site includes the final report, survey data tables, a crosswalk of the benchmarks and indexed classes (benchmark group), survey methodologies, FAQ including public disclosure request info, and a power BI dashboard with the benchmark
