<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">The State of Alaska is conducting a comprehensive review of job classes responsible for probation and parole work conducted in the field and within our correctional institutions. For your reference, current descriptions
of our primary line probation and parole classes are attached.</span><span style="color:red"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">We are hoping to gather some information regarding how this work is structured and delegated in your state. If you could please take a few minutes to review and respond to the questions we have below, that would

is this supervision typically occurring at?<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Does your state employ any parole officer type of job classes in state-run institutions for purposes of providing case management to inmates with the goal of transitioning them to
release back to the community? If so, please elaborate as best you can.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Does your state employ any job classes responsible for electronic and other monitoring and supervision of charged defendants awaiting trial while on release in the community? If so,
