<p class="MsoNormal">The State of Ohio does not currently have a separate Human Resources classification for centralized HR services. However, the class spec, Human Capital Management series, does contain job duties specific to the centralized HR functions

<p class="MsoNormal">In Nebraska, every agency has its own HR staff, whether it is one person or a large team. There are also centralized State Personnel staff within the Department of Administrative Services. Centralized payroll and HRIS systems are maintained
with agencies having access to input/update their employees’ information. There are centralized Employee Relations, Classification and Compensation, Benefits, Training, and Facilities Teams that support other state agencies. In addition, there are Shared Services
in which specific work such as recruitment services can be purchased from the state’s central office.
