</strong><br/><hr></div>Good morning from WV,<div>WV is looking at creating higher level financial classifications for those who are not Chief Financial Officers.  Right now these positions are in a generic classification, but we want to create a specialized classification and/or series.  These positions are responsible for Department wide funds at a very high level and operate as managers and supervisors.  These positions could report to a Chief Financial Officer or an Office Director who then reports to a Cabinet Secretary.</div><div><br></div><div>We have an Accountant/Auditor Supervisor, but these positions are not necessarily accountants.  And are even operating at a higher level than the accountant/auditor series. </div><div><br></div><div>Please let me know if you have any classifications similar to what I'm describing. </div><div>We would appreciate your responses by Wednesday, February 21. 2024.</div><div><br></div><div>Thank you so much!</div><div>Wendy Mays</div><div>Assistant Director</div><div>Classification and Compensation</div><div>WV Division of Personnel</div></div>
