<p class="MsoNormal">I am pleased to announce we filled our Systems and Support Bureau Chief position! Michelle Hermann will be taking on the role of Systems and Support Bureau Chief for DHR, beginning October 16th.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Michelle is a graduate of Washington State University, Go Cougs!, where she earned a degree in Business Management with a minor in Human Resources. Her career journey began at Starbucks, where she quickly recognized her passion for business
processes and customer focus. She then joined Cambia, the parent company of Blue Cross, as a recruiter, where she honed her skills in talent acquisition and people management.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">After her stint in the private sector, Michelle transitioned to the public sector, working as an HR Specialist Senior at Health and Welfare in Lewiston for two years. This experience provided her with invaluable insights into public administration
and the unique opportunities of HR in government. Michelle then transferred to the Department of Lands, relocating her family to Boise. For the past eight years, she has been an integral part of IDL, consistently contributing to the agency's growth and success.
At IDL, she has created processes, reports, and more. She is also a proud graduate of the Certified Public Manager program. Additionally, Michelle has played an active role in the LUMA project since its inception, showcasing her commitment to innovation and
efficiency. In October 2022, Michelle became the HR Officer for IDL and has enjoyed working with staff to support the agency's mission, vision, and goals.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">On a personal note, she has been married to her husband, Kevin, for 14 years, and together, they have five wonderful children: Sophie (12), Carter (10), Russell (6), Jackson (4), and baby Bentley. Family is incredibly important to her,
and they enjoy spending quality time together, often embarking on camping adventures in their RV. Additionally, Michelle has a unique and vibrant personality, with an undeniable passion for celebrating holidays and a quirky fascination with flamingos.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">As Michelle assumes the role of Systems and Support Bureau Chief, I have every confidence that her passion for HR, dedication to efficiency, and leadership skills will be invaluable in driving positive change. I am excited to welcome her
to central office and look forward to the contributions she will make as we work together to support and enhance the systems and services provided to our agencies. Michelle brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team, and I am excited to see the
impact she will make in her new position!<o:p></o:p></p>
