<p class="MsoNormal">I am sending this email to you as an employee of DHR for your own personal information. We will share additional guidance to the DHR team on steps we’ll take to support our state employees in the transition over to a new carrier.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The state is switching its medical insurance carrier from Blue Cross of Idaho to Regence Blue Shield, effective July 1, 2024. The State’s goal during this transition is to offer our employees the same or, in some cases, better health insurance
 coverage than they previously had.  The only change most of our employees will experience is a new insurance card in July.

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Here are some key things to be aware through this transition process:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>

<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><b><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Open Enrollment Information</span></b><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">: All normal Open Enrollment information, such as
 premiums, new benefit details, and Summaries of Benefits & Coverage (SBCs), will be communicated on our typical Open Enrollment schedule. This ensures that employees have access to comprehensive information to make informed decisions about their health coverage.<o:p></o:p></span></li></ul>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<ul style="margin-top:0in" type="square">
<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><b><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">No Mass Reenrollment Required</span></b><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">: There is no mass re-enrollment required with
 the medical plan transition. Only those making changes to their medical enrollment or wishing to enroll/reenroll for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) need to act during Open Enrollment.<o:p></o:p></span></li></ul>

<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><b><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Benefits Transition</span></b><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">: We are diligently reviewing contracts to ensure a smooth
 transition of as many benefits as possible to the new plan. Additionally, new benefits resulting from the procurement process will be introduced to enhance the overall coverage for our employees.<o:p></o:p></span></li></ul>

<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><b><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Medical and Pharmacy Disruption Analysis</span></b><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">: Over the coming months, OGI will conduct
 multiple medical and pharmacy disruption analyses to minimize member impact. This includes direct communication to members who may be directly affected, providing them with the necessary information and support.<o:p></o:p></span></li></ul>

<ul style="margin-top:0in" type="square">
<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><b><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Transfer of Prior Authorizations</span></b><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">: We are actively working with Regence to transfer
 all existing Prior Authorizations in place. This proactive step is aimed at minimizing disruptions to member treatments or planned treatments as we transition on July 1.<o:p></o:p></span></li></ul>
