[Idaho Geospatial Council Membership]

The September "Map of the Month" has been posted to the GIS website (along with maps previously posted to the site) and can now be viewed at:  http://gis.idaho.gov/portal/maps/gallery.html

The Idaho Dept. of Agriculture "... aggressively monitors the waters of the state in an attempt to find invasive species populations as early as possible."  For September, we're sharing their story map titled "Monitoring Idaho's Waters - Protection from Aquatic Invasive Species."  This interactive map includes water sample locations for Zebra and Quagga mussel veligers (which are the microscopic planktonic larval stage of these mussels) in Idaho by year.
