[Idaho Geospatial Council Membership]

The March Map of the Month has been posted to the GIS website (along with maps previously posted to the site) and can now be viewed at:  http://gis.idaho.gov/portal/maps/gallery.html

This month we are featuring a map titled "Sounds of the Wild West."

Like most of the West, Montana's four major ecosystems are shaped and defined by water - either by water's abundance or by the lack of it. The characteristics of an ecosystem determine what we hear. Every ecosystem has a voice, and this map features an audio tour of Montana's four major ecosystems.
