The September Map of the Month has been posted to the GIS website (along with maps previously posted to the site) and can now be viewed at:  https://gis.idaho.gov/data-maps/map-of-the-month/

If you weren't aware, Bannock County had a large volume of appeals to the Board of Equalization (BOE) after property assessments were delivered in June.  With direction from the Commissioner's Office, the County's GIS Department created the Bannock County BOE Summary of Market Area Action StoryMap.  This application (shared courtesy of Cyndi Andersen, Bannock County) provides the public with the following information regarding the Board of Equalization process and actions:

  *   Message from the Board of Equalization
     *   Includes a PDF map that was published in the Idaho State Journal on August 11, 2019
  *   Roles of the Assessor and Commissioners relating to BOE hearings
  *   Instruction for appealing the BOE's decision with the Board of Tax Appeals
  *   Access to the Property Tax Estimate Calculator
  *   Market Area Decisions with zoomed in map of each area
