Hello All
During September’s IGC-EC meeting Chair Wilma Robertson proposed that we look at simplifying the processes of developing data standards and nominating data sets.  Over the several weeks since that meeting Chair Robertson, Laurie Ames (Nez Perce Co.), Margie Wilkins (IDWR), and myself have reimagined the processes with the end of streamlining them for easier submission, review, and approval.  The end goal is to not have the processes get in the way of submissions and to encourage new submissions for both standards and related data sets from the TWGs.  These are important for us in realizing the advancement and completion of the layers identified in the Strategic Plan as necessary for TIM.

Attached are the proposed processes for review.  Please note that these documents are ONLY the process parts of the documents G350 and P5030 found on ita.idaho.gov, and will replace the process portions of those documents.  The diagrams showing the flow of these processes are on the last page of each.  These documents and the changes they represent will be on the agenda for next week’s IGC-EC meeting for review and discussion.  Those wishing to make comments, feedback, and recommendations will have two weeks after the IGC-EC meeting  (until Nov 3rd) to respond as we continue to move forward.
