[Agencyitmanagers] Raising Vendor-related issues call

Good morning all,

As you may know, I represent Idaho to the National Association of State CIOs (NASCIO).  While I get great value from attending NASCIO events, I don't know that the rest of our IT community is even aware of, much less getting value from, our participation in NASCIO.  I'd like to try and change that.

The NASCIO group receives support from many major IT vendors, and it's not unusual for senior members of a vendor/sponsor organization to be present at conferences: national sales managers, VPs, etc.  If we're having a long-standing or serious issue with one of the vendor/sponsors, this would be a great opportunity to elevate an issue within the vendor organization.

To that end, if you're having an issue with one of the vendors, would you be willing to educate me about it?  I'd like to understand the issue confronting you.  If it's appropriate, I could then advocate on your behalf at the NASCIO Annual Conference coming up in a few weeks (20-24 October).
