We're seeking technology projects from state agencies to enter in this prestigious awards program! If your agency has implemented an innovative technology project in the last year, we would like to hear from you. This program honors excellence in the use of information technology in state government and gives nominees the opportunity to be showcased at the national level. There is still time to nominate a project from your agency. The deadline for the initial one-page project outlines has been extended to Friday, April 12. Outlines only need to include the following information: * Dates project was initiated and completed (see link below to Information Packet for eligibility dates and category descriptions) * Category best aligned with your project * Concept describing dilemma or encouraging civic engagement * Significance and benefits of your project * Impact of your project Nominees with projects chosen to move forward to the national competition will expand their outlines into full submissions during April and early May, and our office will submit the nominated project entrees to NASCIO by the final deadline of Friday, May 24.
