The deadline this year has been extended to June 24 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If your agency has implemented an innovative technology project in the last year, we would like to hear from you. This program honors excellence in the use of information technology in state government and gives nominees the opportunity to be showcased at the national level. Agencies wishing to nominate a project may email me their one-page outline by Friday, May 22, which should include the following information: * Dates project was initiated and completed (see attached Information Packet for eligibility dates and category descriptions) * Category best aligned with your project * Concept describing dilemma or encouraging civic engagement * Significance and benefits of your project * Impact of your project Nominees with projects chosen to move forward to the national competition will expand their outlines into full submissions during late May and June, and our office will submit the nominated project entrees to NASCIO by the final deadline of Wednesday, June 24.
