Other than Balas, there's another case, Golinksi v. US that ruled that DOMA
was unconstitutional. It's not exactly on point and it's also out of
California. I am aware of the Kandu decision out of Western District of
Washington where the Court dismissed a joint petition by domestic partners
under DOMA, however, that it is a 2004 case.

sex debtors.  Couple married in NY state.  Now living in Idaho.

Any direction, caselaw, etc.  he would receive will be appreciated.

I told Jake he would be working awfully hard for the no look fee amount the
court would approve, but to go for it nonetheless.
