Folks:

Over the past year I've had discussions with several of you, cautioning that
the Court's recent decision in In re Hall was not, in my opinion, as
pro-debtor or pro-pre-bankruptcy planning as it seems at first blush.  In
the attached case (hot off the presses) the Debtors quite literally relied
on Hall to hide about $120,000 and got burned.  Congratulations to Jed
Manwaring on a terrific trial - very efficient and great preparation.  He's
been on the front lines along with the trustees fighting the abuses of the
most ridiculous exemption statute in the Idaho Code (41-1836).  

True to form, this 28-page Judge Myers decision contains 53 footnotes, so
you may wish to view it at 120%.  Enjoy.
