Debtor is living in home in Idaho at the time of filing and has been for several years. Subsequent to the commencement of the case, debtor then gets approval to sell the home, and moves to Washington and invests the 100K homestead in a property in Washington, which will qualify under Washington's homestead statute. There are no objections to the homestead exemption. The purchase of the Washington real estate occurs within 6 months of getting the proceeds from the Idaho real property.

Are the funds from the initial sale still exempt.

The debtor has a non dischargeable judgment, and the creditor is not amenable to allowing the debtors to keep their homestead or leave the state.
