Listmates,

I have been asked to present a CLE to the Family Law Section on 
bankruptcy issues involving divorce and community property. The topics 
they want to discuss include whether spouses should file for bankruptcy 
or divorce first, whether a non-filing spouse should file bankruptcy 
when a divorce is pending, DSO's, etc.

Most of my experience dealing with divorce and community property 
bankruptcy issues is from representing a chapter 7 trustee, so I would 
appreciate any suggestions  or comments you have regarding these issues. 
I am especially interested in hearing about divorce and community 
property issues in chapter 11 and 13 and advice from debtor attorneys.
