I don’t know Judge Meir well, never practiced in front of him or against him. But, I did get to know him a little bit at the annual BK Seminars and he seemed to me to be a very friendly, funny, and classy man.

I did not have the privilege of practicing in his court but he and I were adversaries and allies, depending on the circumstances, in many cases over the years.  He was always a gracious opponent and loyal ally.  Some of our colleagues could take lessons. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
