Dear Board, if you have time to look through these materials I’d encourage you to do so. We will be talking about the possibility of seeding some of these Family resource Centers as one possible strategy for developing capacity in communities. I am particularly interested in the potential for co-locating programs with schools and libraries.

Hello All,
Thank you very much for participating in yesterday's session on Exploring Federal Funding & Family Resource Centers (FRC). The recording of the session can be accessed here<https://us02web.zoom.us/rec/share/biiDhe-HFf3XxLjYeFg5yBiPStkpLFNcE3atk6PJ-IpEExjXW6fHAJpUImRvSuXh.NbKKMCGP5wLZSb8B> (passcode: #C7?g26x). I have also attached the pdf of the PowerPoint, the handouts, and the registration list.
Please reach out to the NFSN with any questions you may have or additional information you may need. We are the one stop for all things FRC!
Resources:
* For further information about FRCs, please see the FRC page<https://www.nationalfamilysupportnetwork.org/family-support-programs> of the NFSN website, which has overview information, research reports, videos, and a virtual visit to a FRC in upstate New York.
* If you are thinking of funding FRCs for the first time or developing a Network of FRCs, please see the continua in the Developing Networks section of the Family Support Networks<https://www.nationalfamilysupportnetwork.org/family-support-networks> page of the NFSN website. As mentioned, the NFSN also has sample FRC RFPs, evaluation plans, and information about effective data management systems.
More news to share: Just yesterday after the session the NFSN learned that Kentucky has allocated $1.1M in state general funds for 24 new school-based FRCs (to add to the 856 FRCs they already have) and will allocate $15M in federal Governor's Emergency Education Relief (GEER II) to 150 funding for existing FRCs ($100,000 each) to address early childhood and mental health issues.
Thanks,
Andrew Russo
