[CTF Board Members] Exploring Federal Funding & Family Resource Centers Session

We will be talking about the possibility of seeding some of these Family resource Centers as one possible strategy for developing capacity in communities.  I am particularly interested in the potential for co-locating programs with schools and libraries.

As mentioned, the NFSN also has sample FRC RFPs, evaluation plans, and information about effective data management systems.

More news to share: Just yesterday after the session the NFSN learned that Kentucky has allocated $1.1M in state general funds for 24 new school-based FRCs (to add to the 856 FRCs they already have) and will allocate $15M in federal Governor's Emergency Education Relief (GEER II) to 150 funding for existing FRCs ($100,000 each) to address early childhood and mental health issues.
