The State of Missouri is re-evaluating our current electronic content management system for retaining position classification files. We are interested in learning what other states are using, and any other tips you would like to share. Your response to the questions below would be appreciated, by January 4.


*         Does your state use a centralized approach to maintaining position description forms/questionnaires used for classification purposes?

*         If so, are these documents maintained in electronic format and what software is used for this purpose?

*         If you are using a specific type of software for these files, would you recommend it to others? Why or why not?

*         Are your positions frequently "renumbered" in your ERP? How does your electronic content management software handle these renumberings?
