  1.  Does your state currently observe Juneteenth as a paid holiday? If so, please provide the relevant link or a copy of the Juneteenth policy/provision.
No, not as a paid holiday. Paid holidays are provided by R.S. 1.55<https://www.legis.la.gov/Legis/Law.aspx?p=y&d=74097>. Juneteenth was commemorated in 2003 by the Louisiana Legislature in R.S. 1.58.2<https://www.legis.la.gov/Legis/Law.aspx?d=206056>.

  1.  If your state does not observe Juneteenth as a paid holiday, is it recognized or celebrated in another way such as a proclamation, day of service etc,?  Please explain.
