The lowest rate paid to State of Wisconsin employees in permanent positions is $12.49 per hour (Custodians, Groundskeepers, Laundry Workers, lowest-level Food Service, etc.)

Temporary workers (limited-term employees) are paid as low as the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour.
