Good morning,

The State of Ohio has not provided ARPA funded pay increases. However, the State of Ohio offered incentives for receiving vaccinations in the form of lump sum payments offered on two separate dates based on achievement of a goal. The criteria to receive a lump sum payment were:

1 - Agencies who achieve 65% of staff receiving at least the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine by a defined date were awarded a lump sum payment of $300.
2 - Agencies who achieve 85% of staff receiving at least the first does of COVID-19 vaccine by a defined date were awarded a lump sum payment of $600.

There was also a payment of $100 per employee who documented that they received at least the first dose of the vaccine.

Some agencies met these goals and their employees were awarded the lump sum payment. This was implemented late last year around October through December.

Subject: [NCASG] Request for info on ARPA-funded bonuses or pay increases applied across the board

Hello all! Has your state provided any ARPA-funded pay increases or bonuses applied across-the-board to all/nearly all employees and not just to "essential workers"?

(ARPA, of course, is the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 signed into law by President Biden on March 11, 2021, which included a $1.9 trillion stimulus package for both the private and public sectors.)

Thank you!
