[NCASG] Disability Claims Adjudicator Training

Good morning,
The State of Indiana is reviewing training for the Disability Claims Adjudicator classification series. Does your state provide any training incentives and/or pay increases within the same job classification when completing training during the first 3 years of employment? Indiana just completed a comprehensive compensation study that re-evaluated our job classification salaries and aligned with market data. I have included more specific questions below and I have attached our Disability Claims Adjudicator 3 and Disability Claims Adjudicator 2 job profiles as well.


  1.  How many months is the training for Disability Claims Adjudicators/Examiners to be fully proficient in the role?
  2.  When training is completed, is there any type of pay increase provided?
     *   Are pay increases provided throughout the training?
  3.  Do you have a training program outline you could share with us?
