Good morning from WV,
WV is looking at creating higher level financial classifications for those who are not Chief Financial Officers.  Right now these positions are in a generic classification, but we want to create a specialized classification and/or series.  These positions are responsible for Department wide funds at a very high level and operate as managers and supervisors.  These positions could report to a Chief Financial Officer or an Office Director who then reports to a Cabinet Secretary.

We have an Accountant/Auditor Supervisor, but these positions are not necessarily accountants.  And are even operating at a higher level than the accountant/auditor series.

Please let me know if you have any classifications similar to what I'm describing.
We would appreciate your responses by Wednesday, February 21. 2024.
