Important Changes to Idaho Practitioner Sales Reporting

This notice applies only to authorized drug distributors selling controlled substance medications to Idaho practitioners:


  *   Do not register if you are not selling to Idaho practitioners
  *   Waivers or exemptions are not necessary and will not be issued

The Division has launched a new platform for authorized drug distributors to submit sales to Idaho practitioners for controlled substance drugs sold to Idaho practitioners. This is not a new requirement but a notification of a new reporting platform.

This communication affects the following (authorized Drug Distributors) licensees:

  *   Manufacturer - includes Virtual
  *   Wholesale Distributor - includes Virtual
  *   Resident and Non-Resident Drug Outlet (if selling to Idaho practitioners)
  *   Outsourcing Drug Outlet (if selling to Idaho practitioners)


Authorized drug distributors are required to complete the following:

  *   Create an account<https://pmpclearinghouse.net/opiatereporting>
  *   Submit sales for the previous month by the 15th of each month

To satisfy reporting requirements, account holders must submit one of the following:

  *   Sales to practitioners require a Data Submission
  *   No sales to practitioners require a Zero Report
Guidelines to submit reports are available on the Divisions website: https://dopl.idaho.gov/bop/

  *   Once on the webpage, scroll down to the section named Additional Board Information
  *   Click on the banner named Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP)
  *   Refer to the ID PSRS - Idaho Practitioner Sales (Monthly) Reporting section
  *   Important Note: This system only offers a singular submission method, Web Portal Upload.
