From dopl-communication at dopl.idaho.gov Wed May 8 15:10:38 2024 From: dopl-communication at dopl.idaho.gov (DOPL) Date: Wed, 8 May 2024 21:10:38 +0000 Subject: DOPL Communication - Online Services Message-ID: May 8, 2024 The Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses (DOPL) new licensing system is getting closer to implementation. The new state-of-the-art system is set to launch on July 1, 2024. The new system will improve the services we provide to you and allow us to process your applications quicker. Here are just a few of the improvements that you can expect with this new system: * Those not in the Boise area can submit their applications on-line vs having to send them through the mail. This will streamline the process of reviewing applications and providing final determinations on the applications faster. * By creating an on-line profile in the new system, you can: * Upload documents needed for your application or renewal. * View your license online. * Print your license, registration, certification, or permit from home. * Communicate directly with DOPL via a messaging protocol in the licensing system. * Receive important communication from DOPL, for items such as an upcoming renewal requirement, through various methods: * Email * Text * Physical mail through the USPS We also want to let you know that we will be disabling the legacy licensing systems as we cutover to the new system. Most of the licensing systems will not be available to process requests, such as renewing licenses or registrations, purchasing trade permits or requesting inspections on trade permits, from June 26th at 6:00 pm MDT until July 1st at 8:00 am MDT. If you have a renewal coming due at the end of June, we encourage you to complete your renewal early this year. You can find additional information regarding the new system at dopl.idaho.gov/onlineservices. Sincerely, Russell S. Barron Administrator DOPL's New Licensing System will go live on July 1, 2024.
