Important Notice - New Idaho Prescriber Sales Reporting System

[Idaho Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP)]

The Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses is launching a new system for authorized drug distributors to report monthly prescription drug (including controlled substances) sales to Idaho practitioners, named Idaho Practitioner Sales Reporting System.



This notice applies only to authorized drug distributors selling to Idaho practitioners. Do not register if not selling to Idaho practitioners. Waivers are not necessary and will not be issued.



According to the Idaho Board of Pharmacy Administrative rules, an authorized Drug Distributor must submit drug distribution data monthly in a format specified by the Division.
This communication affects the following (authorized Drug Distributors) licensees:

  *   Manufacturer - includes Virtual
  *   Wholesale Distributor - includes Virtual
  *   Resident and Non-Resident Drug Outlet
  *   Outsourcing Drug Outlet


To register, please visit https://pmpclearinghouse.net/opiatereporting Registration must be completed by July 1, 2024.


Beginning August 1st, 2024, reports must be submitted in ARCOS format via Secure FTP, Web Portal Upload, or Manual Entry (UFC) for the previous month. Guidelines for submitting reports will be available on our website at https://dopl.idaho.gov/bop/ by August 1, 2024.


To satisfy reporting requirements, submit one of the following:

  *   Sales to practitioners require a Data Submission
  *   No sales to practitioners require a Zero Report.
Third-Party Logistic Providers (3PL): Idaho licensees who sell prescription drugs shipped through a 3PL are considered the product owners and are responsible for reporting sales, not the 3PL.
