Good afternoon,

The State does have earthquake coverage under our major property policy for State buildings. If you believe one of your buildings has sustained damage please send a notice of claim right away to RiskClaims at adm.idaho.gov<mailto:RiskClaims at adm.idaho.gov>. The agency deductible is $2000.

If you believe your building may have sustained structural damage please also advise Risk Management and we will coordinate with you on hiring a structural engineer to inspect. We will only pay for a structural damage assessment for a building if there is reason to suspect damage. If there is nothing to support an assessment then it will not be covered as a claim expense.

Thank you,
