[IDHR] Promotion Announcement

Please join me in congratulating Jenn Pierce on her promotion to the Human Resource Officer for the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections!

Jenn started with the state at IDJC in 2022 as a Human Resources Specialist, Sr. and her promotion will be effective next week on 9/3.

Here's some fun things to know about Jenn that she passed along:

"I enjoy spending time with my husband, Chase, my 8 year old daughter, Piper, and our 7 year old Yorkie, Burt. We stay busy with cheerleading & tumbling & keeping up with fun local activities. I have a small flower garden that keeps me busy in the summertime. I also enjoy self-care of all kinds, hiking, reading, swimming, Hulu, sleeping, and live music!"

"I've lived right here in Boise for 20+ of my life & like everyone else is discovering, it's awesome. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I'm looking forward to continuing to serve the community and working with amazing people."

"I am an experienced HR professional with 15+ years of experience in various roles in leadership, HR, recruiting and employee relations. I graduated from the University of Phoenix with a degree in Business Management. For the past 10 months I have served as Human Resource Specialist, Sr. for the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections. Prior to that, I was the HR Partner for the largest home builder in Idaho & their owned Trade Partners."

"I am passionate about growth, development, and people. I take pride in helping others succeed & that's what drew me to IDJC. I am excited to be part of the mission and helping my community."
