Message-ID: Hello! In case you missed it, training for Luma officially began this week for Human Capital Management (HCM)! As a reminder, Luma is the system that will replace our existing systems, including I-Time, I-Perform, EIS, and NEOGOV, beginning on June 20, 2023. If you aren't currently registered for the class that began this week (titled: HCM - Employee Record Class 1 of 5*), you should get logged into the system today and registered for the courses available on either Wednesday or Friday of this week. If you're unable to attend, there is also a recording that will be available (however, we strongly encourage you to attend the live session to have an opportunity to ask questions). If we have enough people who aren't able to make it this week, please let us know and we'll get another session scheduled. *This is a five course series that you will need to register for all five courses (i.e., they're not all the same class offered five times) To sign up for training, you need to be able to access the SCO Enterprise Dashboard (the below screen pops up after you click "Sign In" in the upper right hand corner). Keep in mind, your credential for the Enterprise Dashboard are different than your credentials for the Applications Menu sign in. If you need assistance getting access, contact the SCO Helpdesk at (208) 334-3100 or info at sco.idaho.gov. Please also note that the Enterprise Dashboard requires dual verification to sign in (i.e., if you decide to use your cell phone to authenticate, you'll need to download Duo Mobile). Attached is the master schedule of the training that's scheduled during the month of May. Please make sure that any payroll and fiscal employees within your agency who approve HR actions also receive this email and attend the trainings relevant to their role. We removed the Employee Relations and Leave of Absence courses since those modules are not going live in June and we wanted everyone to be able to focus on the modules going live. We'll discuss this more during our 2pm statewide HR call. Additionally, we consolidated the 8 trainings on compensation into 2 modules. If you were registered for any of those that have been changed, you should receive an email from SCO notifying you of the cancellation. Our new HR Manager will be Kristy Bobish-Thompson! Kristy was born and raised in Pocatello, ID. She and her husband, Tom, have been married for eighteen years and have two boys - Gage, age 16, and Kade, age 13. She loves spending time with her family enjoying the outdoors, whether it be hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, camping, or four-wheeling. Kristy graduated from Idaho State University earning a Bachelor's in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources. She joined Micron Technology, Inc. in 2000 and worked in their Human Resource Department for seven years. She started out in the Personnel Records area maintaining personnel files and then in 2003 joined the Workforce Mobility Group at Micron, where she was responsible to coordinate the Expatriate/Inpatriate assignments, relocating staff to and from Italy, Japan, Singapore, and China and ramping up the facilities in Virginia and Utah to meet strategic plans. In late 2007, she chose to stay home with her first-born for six months before re-entering the workforce at the Idaho Industrial Commission as a Human Resource Associate, coordinating recruitment, payroll, and safety. A short eight months later, in 2008 she transferred to the Idaho Department of Correction as a Human Resource Specialist, Senior. During her four years there she served as a technical expert in employee relations, management consultation, and performance management, supervising staff in personnel action processing, recruitment, and benefits. From September 2012 to March 215, she served as the Human Resource Officer for the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, managing and administering all functions of HR. Since March 2015, she has been the Human Resource Officer for the Idaho State Police, serving as a member of their Executive Leadership. She's thoroughly enjoyed this time with her "blue family" and her amazing team of five HR professionals. The experience garnered from ISP, and overseeing the Brands and Racing agencies to boot, has well prepared her to take on the role of Human Resource Manager serving the Natural Resource agencies. She is excited to join the team to move our State of Idaho HR forward! She prescribes to the philosophy of Servant Leadership and looks forward to serving every one of you. Go Team DHR!! The CPM? program emphasizes applied skills using best practices providing benefits for employees and for their employers.
