[IDHR] Thank You!

Hello!

I hope everyone had a great Public Employee Appreciation Week! As this week comes to and end, I wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate each and every one of you and all of your contributions to our state employees, to HR modernization and Luma. 2020 was nothing short of daunting, yet we turned up the heat even more with the HR modernization initiative and the implementation of Luma. Through all of this, I have witnessed great leadership and grit from you as state leaders and HR professionals! I look back over the past couple of years since HR Modernization and Luma were announced and I am blown away by all that has been accomplished by this amazing team.

We have now reached the implementation of these changes and our ability to maintain our resolve through these challenges, may be more important than ever, and any attempts at perfection will be the enemy of our ability to progress. At some point, we just have take a leap and have confidence in our ability to fly! I certainly have that confidence in all of you!

Your commitment to the state and to the human resources profession does not go unnoticed and I encourage you all to take care of yourself and your family, and find ways to manage through the stressors all these changes impose on us!

Have a wonderful weekend, and I hope you get to show some love to all the mothers in your lives!
