Idaho Certified Public Manager® Program

The 2023-2025 CPM® Cohort is now open for application!
Applications for the 2023-2025 CPM® cohort open today, June 1st.

Program applications will be due by 11:59 pm on July 21st, 2023.

Instructions to access and begin the application process are attached.
Applicants will need to create a user account in DHR’s learning management system, Moodle. The Moodle course will provide access to the application, program handbook, and a calendar of scheduled classes and upcoming events.

What is CPM®?

The program is a nationally accredited, comprehensive program that enhances personal leadership strengths and creates efficiency in the State of Idaho workplace.

Participants strengthen leadership skills, deepen their understanding of management, and improve the quality of public service.
Why should public managers participate in CPM®?
This program is designed for high-achieving, career-oriented public supervisors and managers who hold or desire to move into mid- or senior-level positions within federal, state, and local government agencies as well as non-profit entities. The CPM® program emphasizes applied skills using best practices providing benefits for employees and for their employers.

Total cost of $2,576 per person paid over two fiscal years.
($1,288 each year)

Program duration is approximately 22 months.
Classes are held monthly.

2023 tracks will be based in Boise, online via Zoom or WebEx, and in East Idaho. East Idaho classes may rotate between Pocatello, Blackfoot, and Idaho Falls
