Greetings, Everyone
I have exciting news this month. Wilma Robertson has been selected as our first Framework Coordinator. You will see more of Wilma as she becomes familiar with all the TWG activities. As many of you know, Wilma has been Idaho's steward of Hydrography at IDWR. She's seen the future of Framework from the stewardship perspective and can help you get there. Be sure to give Wilma a warm welcome to your Framework group. She will rapidly become an essential coordinating resource for our burgeoning ISDI community.
And as if that wasn't enough news, the Idaho Geospatial Office has been awarded ESRI's Special Achievement in GIS award. This would not have happened without all of you pitching in to move us forward. If you are planning to be at the ESRI conference this summer, please attend the awards ceremony on Wednesday afternoon and celebrate with me.
The map for May is an app. Bob has assembled a couple of snapshots from the Stimulus Reporting Map Application for the hallway display. The online, interactive version will soon be linked off Idaho's website at http://www.accountability.idaho.gov/. In the meantime, browse our hallway or check out the application at http://gis.idaho.gov/stimulusmap. Bob customized the ESRI template that many states are using for transparency reporting. It has been quite a challenge getting Idaho's data pulled together, but Bob has done a great job. Let him know what you think.
Enjoy!
