DENNIS HILL (City of Pocatello) I am a lifelong resident of the Gem State, more particularly South East Idaho. I attended Idaho State University and acquired a few credentials. I have a BS in Engineering, AAS in Surveying and a smattering of life experiences, and that is an understatement. I have worked so many jobs it makes my head hurt, but the important ones were for the Forest Service as a surveyor, a title company, and the City of Pocatello for 30 years as the GIS Manager. I have been involved in the GIS community for long enough to have some great stories to tell, but don't worry I won't. I live on the Portneuf River on 13 acres which I consider paradise; although it is a lot of work it's very rewarding. LAURIE AMES (Nez Perce Tribe) Professional: GIS Coordinator for the Nez Perce Tribe - 3 years. Remote Sensing Specialist with the Nez Perce Tribe - 13 years. This position provides leadership and guidance to a team of geospatial and management-level professionals. Member of the Imagery TWIG, URISA and ASPRS. Education: University of Idaho - B.S. Geography (Physical Science and Environment); University of Idaho - M.S. Geography Course work (Remote Sensing/GIS) "Agricultural Burn Scars using Landsat Imagery"; University of Idaho - GIS Certification. Personal: Wife, mother of two daughters and grandmother to five amazing grandkids, 3 girls, 2 boys. I love to read, knit and walk the Latah Trail. DAWN DIONNE (TerraMapping LLC) Dawn offers a skillset that is uniquely in-line with the IGC-EC responsibilities (as a subcommittee of the ITA). A lifelong resident of the Pacific NW, Dawn calls Hayden, Idaho her home. She is the owner of TerraMapping LLC, a company that specializes in GPS/GIS mapping solutions with a focus on historical and environmental projects and has been involved in the measuring community since 1995. Her formal education in Civil Engineering led her to find her true passion in survey and mapping. Dawn has had the opportunity to work with the top Trimble Navigation dealers in the U.S. as a sales manager and then as a Certified Mobile GPS/GIS Trainer. Her role as a trainer allowed her to work with a diverse network of users including military, state agencies and private users. Dawn has also worked and maintained a close relationship with UniVision Computers, a Montana-based IT company that specializes in IT services for many educational, financial and law enforcement clients. As an account manager she gained a working knowledge of IT services including web development, network security, VoIP telecommunications and Network recovery. She continues education on new ESRI and Trimble products as they become available. As a member of the IGC-EC, Dawn will bring with her years of diverse experience and the ability to work with a team to move goals forward. *** Thank you, Erin Seaman Department of Administration Office of the CIO - State of Idaho Erin.Seaman at cio.idaho.gov (208) 332-1876 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
