[Igc] Open comment period for State GIS Interagency Data Sharing Standard

Everybody,

Attached is a draft interagency data sharing standard, for your review.

Some important points to know about this standard:

*         The standard effects only State interagency sharing - it does not address or provide guidance for sharing with the public, customers or other entities.

*         The standard only sets a minimum for the format that needs to be available for other agencies.

*         Agencies can share in any other formats they agree on.

*         Agencies can make their data available in as many additional formats as they want, so long as they provide at least one of the approved data formats.

*         Map services is the preferred way to share data
