This means the 4-year waiting period prior to taking the test is no longer required. The only remaining requirement is that the FE exam be passed before registering for the PE exam. Anyone interested in registering for the PE exam may do so now until February 20, 2020 at NCEES.org. The April PE exam is offered on April 17, 2020 in Boise. Becoming licensed requires passing the PE exam and obtaining 4-years of experience after graduating with B.S. degree in engineering. This means you can take the PE exam early and apply for licensure after obtaining the minimum experience. To assist in preparing for the exam, UI (the University of Idaho) will offer a Civil PE review course if enough students are interested. Contact Denise Engebrecht at the contact below by November 29 if interested. Information about this course is as follows: UI PE Review Course in Boise Time: 12 three-hour sessions on Thursdays from 6:00 - 9:00pm, running January 23, 2020 through April 13, 2020.
