My apologies for the late notice.  It’s come to my attention that the Server Team’s planned updates will have an impact on the phone system servers!  We will not have any outage but, as servers are re-booted phones may un-register and re-register (reboot) so they can reach an active server.   We don’t expect any other impact to services. Description:

Continue updating NetApp and ESXi on blades. 1. Will we not be able to connect to our servers during this time period? Servers (VMs) may need to reboot. vSphere and storage will be available. Host updates will require a vm migration or a shutdown for 30 minutes. 2. Will this bring any of our servers offline during the upgrade? Possibly. In the JRW cluster vms should be able to migrate off hosts recieving updates. If not we may need to shut them down. 3. After the update will we still connect using vSphere web client, any changes etc..? Nothing will change connecting to vsphere. We will be applying updates to the ESXi blades and NetApp storage (not at the same time).
