[StateGIS] REMINDER: Imagery Technical Working Group Meeting December 2nd (10:00 MT)

Since there has been some discussion on the GeoTech List Serve recently regarding imagery topics, I am sending out an early reminder for the upcoming Imagery Technical Working Group meeting where these and other imagery-related topics will be discussed in detail. Along with the discussion of the 2015 NAIP, future NAIP collections, and Google aerial imagery, I have invited Mike McGuire and Randy Mayden with Ascent GIS, Inc. to discuss the Hexagon Imagery Program (HxIP). From Mike:
Ascent GIS, Inc. announced it has signed a reseller agreement with Valtus, a subsidiary to Hexagon. Ascent GIS will be representing the Hexagon Imagery Program (HxIP), a high-quality, accurate and professional dataset.  The imagery within the program is 4-band, 30cm (1 foot) resolution, with set specification and accuracy standards, metadata and a planned refresh schedule.  All data within this dataset will be captured using the latest in Hexagon sensor technologies. Mike McGuire of Ascent GIS and Randy Mayden of Hexagon will provide HxIP information at the Imagery Technical Work Group Dec 2nd committee meeting.

I encourage all that have these areas of interest to become a part of the discussion and participate in our meetings.
