GIS specialist position open in Boise. Provides GIS support for IWRRI applied research projects through development of irrigated land classifications and water consumption relationships using GIS programs and databases to process and digitize irrigated land. This will include organizing, managing, and analyzing Landsat data and NAIP imagery needed for water resource analysis of hydrologic data in support of the Idaho Department of Water Resources (IDWR) Treasure Valley Aquifer studies. This position works under the direction of the IDWR Water Resource Information Section Manager in Boise.
