[Idaho Geospatial Council Membership]

The August "Map of the Month" has been posted to the GIS website (along with maps previously posted to the site) and can now be viewed at:  http://gis.idaho.gov/portal/maps/gallery.html

This month we are featuring a story map illustrating the path of the upcoming solar eclipse on August 21.  The map follows the shadow of the moon as it completely blocks out the sun on August 21 across a 3,000 mile path from Oregon's Pacific Coast to the eastern shore of South Carolina.
