My only thought on GIS Sharing would be to reference current data available at Inside.  You can find a better way to word this but when people go to an agency to acquire data for use, they tend not to go back and make sure they are using a current dataset.  Metadata/formatting on INSIDE can include how often the data is updated and current date.  This will encourage people to use current sources in their projects and analysis.  This is extremely useful in our work with counties and cities.  I'm sure it would be for the state agencies.

A working group  of the IGC-EC has drafted a proposed ITA guideline and publishers supplement for review by the IGC members, both of which are attached here, as follows:

  *   Enterprise ITA Guideline G360 (Statewide Geospatial Clearinghouse (INSIDE Idaho) Publisher Guidelines)
  *   INSIDE Idaho Publishers Supplement

The working group is comprised of the following members, and they would like to request your feedback and input on these draft documents by Friday, October 18th:

If you would like to provide feedback, please contact any of the working group members via email (above, and cc'd here).  Once all feedback and suggested edits have been incorporated into the documents, they will be seeking approval of the draft guideline and supplement at the next IGC-EC meeting on November 13th.
