[CLBS] Service problem

Dear Listmates:

I have a client who holds a deed of trust which is in default. I started to
work on a trustee's sale foreclosure, then found out that the borrower had
died. I don't want my client to become PR as a creditor for a number of
reasons. So I thought I'd go with a judicial foreclosure, naming his heirs
and devisees and publishing the summons. Unfortunately, I just got a copy
of his obituary. He has a wife in the Dominican Republic. Besides the
problem of finding out where in the Dominican Republic, there's that little
problem of serving her in a foreign country. Anybody ever successfully
serve anyone in the DR or get a judge to allow publication in the county
where the property is?
