Does anyone represent Ocwen Loan Servicing?  I have chapter 7 clients
who have a home loan with Ocwen.  They are trying to modify, and are in
a "temporary" program.  If they make the 3 payments under the temporary
mod, Ocwen will do the permanent modification.  However, Ocwen won't let
them do the permanent mod without a stay relief order from the
bankruptcy court.  I don't think a stay relief motion filed by debtors
is in order, although perhaps a motion for abandonment will do.
However, the person who informed me that I needed to immediately file
the stay relief motion had a very heavy Asian (perhaps Indian) accent,
and I could barely understand him.  I'd like to talk to Ocwen't counsel.
