This is a pre-filing situation.  After reading all your responses my follow
up question regarding tracing under 11-606. If I were to use 11-606.

Is just holding the check , disclosing it and not cashing it good enough?
Or is there a tangible element to tracing similar to the wild card

Open a separate  account and deposit the proceeds and don't co mingle?
(Tangible concern again)

Cash the check and hold the cash?

Or just go buy a different vehicle and not deal with 11-606 at all as Sarah
suggested?
