December issue is attached and the lead article deals squarely with your
question.  The answer, by the way, is no.

Does anybody know is Washington's homestead exemption can be used
extraterritorially? Debtor moved within past year from Washington to Idaho
and has Idaho condo.  Can he use Washington's homestead exemption to protect
it from trustee's meaty paws?
